Our commitment
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA, the standard referenced by the European Accessibility Act through the harmonised standard EN 301 549. Accessibility is treated as part of our definition of done rather than as a later remediation pass: contrast, keyboard operability and reduced-motion behaviour are checked when an interface is built and are covered by automated tests in our build.
Conformance status
This product is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the standard.
This assessment is an internal self-assessment carried out by our engineering team. It has not been audited or certified by an independent third party, and we do not claim any accessibility certification. We publish the outcome as we measured it, including the gaps below.
What we have verified
- Keyboard operability and a visible focus indicator across the main application shell and navigation.
- A skip link to the main content region.
- Light, dark and system ("auto") colour themes across the application shell and feature pages, with contrast ratios checked against WCAG 2.2 AA for text and interface components.
- Respect for the operating-system "reduce motion" preference application-wide: animation and transitions are suppressed when it is set.
- Status and result information conveyed by text and iconography, not by colour alone.
- Semantic landmarks and heading structure on the public marketing and legal pages.
Known limitations
The following content is known not to be fully accessible. We are working on each item; in the meantime an alternative is given.
Icon-only controls in some feature pages
Several data-heavy pages (notably the API Tester, Test Recorder, Performance Testing and Visual Testing surfaces) contain toolbar buttons that carry a tooltip but not yet an accessible name, so a screen reader may announce them only by their position or icon.
In the meantime: Every such control has a keyboard-reachable equivalent in the page menus. Contact us and we will walk through the specific flow you need.
API Tester is available in a dark theme only
The API Tester module uses a fixed dark colour scheme and does not follow the application-wide light / dark / system setting. Users who need a light or high-contrast presentation cannot currently apply it to that module.
In the meantime: Operating-system and browser-level contrast or zoom controls still apply. All other modules follow the light / dark / system setting.
Third-party and embedded content
Reports rendered from customer-supplied web pages reproduce the accessibility characteristics of the page under test, which we do not control.
In the meantime: Findings are also available as structured data and exports that can be read independently of the rendered preview.
